Dr Ahmed Mahammed qualified from The University of Birmingham in 2004. He has worked in both general practice and hospital. He pursued a diploma in implants from RCSE, and in 2012, he completed an ITI course. To enhance his expertise, he participated in sinus augmentation courses in 2014, 2018, and 2022. Currently, he is actively pursuing a master's degree in Implantology at The University of Bristol. Committed to staying abreast of the latest techniques and procedures, Ahmed attends multiple supplementary training courses each year to uphold the highest standards of patient care. His special interests are Oral Surgery, Implantology, minimally invasive dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, and Invisalign. Ahmed has placed hundreds of dental implants, ranging from simple to more complex cases. He is SAAD qualified and is highly experienced in managing anxious patients using various techniques to make dental treatment a pleasant and more comfortable experience in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This includes Intravenous Sedation (IV) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He is a dental phobia-certified dentist.
He also has a keen interest in complex dental rehabilitation cases to restore teeth to an aesthetically and functionally stable state.
He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in the dental field and had been a Foundation Dental Trainer for several years, dedicated to teaching newly qualified dental graduates in gaining high standards.
Ahmed is part of the Teeth Relief (Sunnymead) charity and A World Without Barriers orphanage charity, dedicating time to providing education and treatment to the developing country.
He is a member of the British Dental Association, the Faculty of General Dental Practice and the Association of Dental Implantology. Away from dentistry, He is a keen endurance cyclist, cycling through many countries for charity. He is also a keen photographer and enjoys photographing various cultures around the world.
